There appears to be a growing concensus that Wii2 will be announced at E3 in June.
Are Ninendo on the verge of launching this new version ?
What will it contain if they do ?
Will this be a serious gaming console or will it aimed towards the family casual gamers like the first edition or will it give PS3 and 360 a run for thier money ?
Heres what some people have to say on it :-

FML Radio Co-Host Announced
I am please to announce that I will be joined this week on FML Radio by Martin Pearson who is Support Mod in my own Gameworld of Nunez.
I have played FML with Martin for nearly 3 years now and it makes sense to have Martin has the Co-Host of FML Radio.
I hope to joined by different people every week but I am also realistic and realise rome wasn't built in a day so I am prepared that the first few weeks we might be short on guests.
If anyone wants to call into the show they are very much welcomed and if anyone would like to be part of the guest panel then please let me know!

FML Radio Launch

FML Radio is set to be launched on Tuesday 30th November 2010.
FML Radio is a weekly radio show which will basically be a talk show inviting people to phone (Which can be done free using Skype) into the show and have their say on all issues regarding Football Manager Live!
This weekly show will be held every Tuesday evening 8.p.m. starting with the first show on 30th November.
Each week will see a panel of managers having a chat about FML, discussing different aspects of the game.
We welcome listeners to call in and have their say on anything to do with FML.
I do not expect this to become an instant success however something that hopefully will grow over time, although be warned it will be very raw.
If you want to take part in the show please feel free to contact me.
Click Here to set a reminder for the show.
Why not tune in on the 30th and have a listen and of course you can call in and join in.

Universally Challenged Final
I would just like to thank Rik Stewart for originally coming up with this idea, it has gone down well.
The winners of this event received 3 months extension to their FML Subscription along with a free copy of FM2011
Many Thanks to the guys at Si for providing these prizes it was a good event and with a bit more orgainising in the future something Im sure could be created along similar lines but prehaps this time it will test your skills as a manager and not as a brainiac.

Gameworld Plus Podcast
I while back I accepted an invite to appear on the gameworldplus podcast with Rik, Thom and Jakswans.
The date for this was agreed way in advance and a few days before it I was ill with the usual seasonal illness, cough cold the usual crap.
So I made a very breif apparence trying to chip in where I can with a few bits and pieces.
Rik has decided to take a step away from FML for a while, and I understand Jak is now only in Beta having let his live accounts run their course.
I wish Thom the best of luck with the podcast for the future should he wish to continue it.
Having made several podcasts previously a few years ago I recall the effort it takes to edit this into the final draft that appears for all to listen to.
Having given it much consideration and probably against my better judgement I have decided to go back down this route, however not with a podcast this time as I dont have the time to edit it.
I will be annoucing full details of this tomorrow!!!

A legend Jogs On!!!
I was lucky enough to catch up with FML Community Legend Rik Stewart last night.
Rik has decided to step away from FML for a while, having joined the game at the same time as Rik nearly 3 years ago I know how much Rik loves FML and this is a decision he would not have taken lightly.
I recall the day I was asked to become a Mod by Richard Tebbutt and my first reaction was only if you are asking Rik as well. This was not me being a twat this was me knowing how important Riks role was in the Pre Release Beta GW we were in together Physco GW6
The banter that was created in this GW was like nothing I have ever seen since and possibly will again, I dont know what created it but it was a special GW and one I had the most fun on.
Perhaps it was just a case of a GW full of people who were up for the crack I dont know maybe it is the game has changed so much ?
Im sure given more time in his life Rik would continue playing FML, but people move on however Rik has done so much for FML I find it really sad that he is moving on.
With FM2011 around the corner Im sure what gaming time Rik does have he will spend on that as opposed to FML, however FM is a great game it does not have the community aspect that FML does.
If FML had a fraction of the depth involved with FM then Im sure it would keep people involved for longer, however FML is not FM and there is a big difference between both games.
I decided to play FM2011 Demo for a few hours recently, and wow what a game!
This game has gone from strength to strength with every addition it just takes on more depth but can also appeal to those who want to be less involved ie in the training side of things etc. The game is so diverse, I love the interaction with the players albeit I have annoyyed most of mine in the few hours that I spent playing.

Universally Challenged
A few months ago I was sent an email from FML Legend Rik Stewart.
The email was sent to few Moderators along with Rob Aka Bertie from Si.
The contents of this was to try and get a cross Gameworld quiz up and running.
This was warmly recieved from the people who had received the email, and about 50 emails followed which tried to sort this out and get the ball rolling.
It never really got off the ground due to various issues with people being away and like then it was how do we get all the gameworlds involved.
As you are probably aware one of the first things that we have done as Community Support Moderators is to get this up and running.
So we set about arranging this on a cross gameworld basis, the ideal sceniro would be to have the qualifying rounds on at the same time in every gameworld, however logistically this is just not possible.
Therefore Guido has created a set of 80 questions for each round to be sent to the gameworlds from which they will select 30 questions at random to run in the quiz.
The winners go forth to Miller and will take part in the final.
The 3 people from the winner gameworld will have their subscription extended by 3 months.
We are now underway with the qualifiying process and things are coming along well.
The quizs are being met with great excitement and its adding an extra dimension to the game.

The Next step!!!
Something New
The last few weeks have been a bit busy for me on FML.
This is not due to my activities on Nunez but more to do with the fact that I was recently appointed a new role in FML.
As you are all aware we currently have the Support Mods who step in and deal with a lot of the issues involved with Moderating FML, well the powers that be at Si Towers have decided to appoint a couple of additional Support Mods which are to be known as Community Support Mods.
I guess you can see where this is leading ?
I have been appointed as s Community Support Moderator, along with Quizmaster Guido.
So What’s the Cracker Jack with a CSM ?
The role of CSM is to be there to assist any Mod teams that need assistance with any Community Events.
This is an advisory role more than just a case of us logging in to do the events on their behalf.
The current Mod team do a terrific job, and it can take a lot of time and effort constantly coming up with new events and comps etc to run in a Gameworld.
There are currently lots of different events in various Gameworlds being run the idea is that as CSM’s we will create a database of these events and the info required to run them.
This way if a mod wants to run something but doesn’t have the time to prepare say a quiz for example they can just use the database we will create and simply copy it from there.
We will be working over the next couple of weeks on pulling all the events into a central database to run.
The type of things we are talking about are
CPU Challenges/Missions
Quiz’s
Treasure Hunts
Comps
Special Seasonal Events
All of these types of things are part of FML already and some people might not be interested in them but if they are then they can be a great addition to the game and can often create a buzz about the gameworld.
One of the attractions of FML for me is the fact that it brings football fans together and there is nothing better than seeing a great discussion kick off about an incident that has taken place during a recent match.

You need better players Daddy!!!
This morning I was sat nursing a hangover I decided to log into FML.
Having downloaded the new update. (My thoughts to follow on this next week)
My 5 year old daughter came over and started cheering on Cider Stars we took a nice first half lead. So I decided to let her choose the half time team talk. She choose Pleased with their performance.
We won 2-0 and she was delighted, Daddy can we play another one.
So I selected the next match on my AI list and let her pick the half time team talks.
The match finished 0-0
"Daddy, you need better players, Can we play as England next?"
Out of the mouths of babes, all that goes into building a team and I feel my 5 year has FML sussed.
Its all about the players, whilst it sounds obvious it appears something that is the theme of FML its all about the trading.
So to conclude I need to invest in players and FML needs to introduce International management.
And finally, She didnt want to play after we drew, It seems she is a save and reload FM player in the making!!!

Revenge is so sweet
After the assult by Martin Pearson I feel the only way to repay my good friend is to beat his Panthers.
Its time for our return leg.
Sometimes people say a picture speaks a thousands words.

Thats right I chuffing won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel revenge has been done, Im happy the fued is over, for now.
However I feel guilty, somewhat ashamed deflated.
Why you might ask ?
Its possible I might have taken revenge a step too far.
Pato out for 5 games!!!

I know its not as long as the guy that was battered by the panthers but this is Pato and its still 5 matches.
I feel a little bit guilty then i think sod it.
PLAY, WIN RUB IT IN

Vital 6 points
Time to play Bluebirds.
This time at home Bluebirds were the team who turned me over 4-1 last night at there gaff.
I felt things had improved over night and with 2 players brought into the starting line up I felt defensively stronger than before.
But hey what the heck do I know.....
It was a bit of a one sided affair with the Strongbow Boys playing out of their skins.
Creating several chances without really taking them, mid way through the 2nd half and I felt this was going the way of the Birds with a sneaky goal going to win it.
Then infeild came my Left winger and belted a cracking striker with his right boot and bent it into the far corner.
Goallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
1-0
With some slow play and time wasting I manage to keep the lead and take the 3 points.
This was followed up by a cracking 3-0 win away against FC Southampton.
I would like to say this was a one sided affair but that would be untrue dispite the scoreline it was a close match.
The goal of the game for me has to be the counter attack for the third great run from my striker down the flank following a corner and he crossed it like a true pro to find one of AMCs running in at the far post to knock it in.
A very enjoyable victory but trying to keep my feet on the ground is hard after todays results.
I might just bloody well stay up at this rate.

Match Engine is screwed
Enough is Enough Im an avid fan of FML having played it for 3 years now.
HOWEVER, Somethings are just too much to take.
Yesterday I saw the most bizarre goal ever.
My CB was kicking the ball back to my goalkeeper for him to take a freekick and Torres pounced on it ran down the pitch for his team mate to score.
Clearly he wasn't actually taking the freekick and was waiting for the keeper to hoof it upfield.
Everyone who has seen this agrees except the ref in the game. Its this kind of thing that ruins the game for me. Forget the fact that Torres had a perfectly good goal already ruled out for offside when he was half a yard onside.
Furthermore the ME is just random.
Yesterday saw a promoted side go away from home and take a 3-0 lead (also having a pen saved) against one of the best sides in the Premier League, although the top side did nearly sneak a draw.
It also saw the champions lose 1-0 to a team who has spent a fortune but are not considered title contenders.
It is clear to me that things just arent right with the ME.
SORT IT OUT PLEASE!!!

FML Opening Night of Season 4
After all the hype and excitement the season is underway at last.
First game of the season is against Play Off Contenders BK Bimmer in the VFA Championship.
I go 1-0 down after only 4 mins, then I batter their goal for the next 10 mins with their keeper in excellent form. Then on 18 mins a quick break from their corner and the ball is played up to my striker who is the GWs top goalscorer.
The pass is a touch short and my striker lunges at it and fouls the defender in the process.
Red Card!!!
Its all up hill from here on in, for the rest of match I get out classed and out played Final Result 3-0
This could be a very long season.
I challenge the same team to the return leg straight away.
An uneventful game which I lose 2-0 and fail to create any real chances.
Next up Gold Cup.
Im playing a team who are far superior to my own I try my best but my boys are knocked out 2-0
The concerning thing after 3 games is Ive yet to score!!!
Next up Bluebirds in the VFA Chamionship.
I go into this game thinking Ive got a chance of getting something If i can keep things tight at the back.
I lose 4-1 and was never in the game.
A terrible start to season 4!!!
Things can only get better surely ?

12 hours to go and its all change
Tactically I am not the best at FML and Im the first to admit it, I play with a 4 3 2 1 and have played this way for 3 years now iwth the odd variant along the way.
I like playing this way and my match plan bascially consists of score more than them!!!
It makes the game more enjoyable to watch and I like to give value for money to my fans, however I have decided to change this to a more conserative approach to the game.
So with 12 hours to go to the all important start of season 4 Ive changed to a 4411 system hoping to try and plug some of the defensive problems that have blighted my FML career.
Taking part in the VFA means I can take a lot slower pace to my games and give them more consideration.
Heres to a new formation and tactics for the forthcoming season.
Wish me luck I feel I will need it

Season 4 Lockdown
I log on at 7.50pm with lockdown due in 10mins.
I have a quick look at the EFA the FA that I have grown to love over the last 3 seasons, and notice that lots of top teams have joined the EFA.
I have a look and I look set to be in the 3rd tier. Not Happy.
So I make a quick decision and leave the EFA and join the TFA in the hope I can make the top couple of tiers in this FA.
A pal of mine then comes on and says VFA looks easier so I TFA at 8 and try to join the TFA and you know whats coming......... I did it just with seconds to spare!!!
So I'm set for my first season in the VFA Season kicks off in 24 hours.
This really is going to be a boring season with me over 2mil in debt its all about just getting through the season as best I can.
Hoping I can do well in a cup this season.

Dry Spell
12th September 2010
Strange day woke up with a huge hangover and decided thats it time to take a break from the Strongbow.
Im a daily drinker, and enjoy a nice pint however time to give the liver a rest so Im on the wagon till the Christmas period.
However my team are called Strongbow Stars so its not going to be easy.

However my team are called Strongbow Stars so its not going to be easy.
3 Seasons In
Ok Its been a mental few months and Nunez has been in full swing.
I feel I have not really bonded with my team for the first few season and have not really enjoyed the 3 season qualifying stage.
I have ironically enjoyed the EFA way of things, this kind of goes against everything i beleive in having come from GW6 and the SFA which was all about the slow pace and plenty of banter.
I like the fact that there is always something to play for a season in 7 days is great from my view Im loving that aspect.
Ive no idea where I stand for the forthcoming season, I need to try and get my finances in order so I might have to face a few relegations this season.
Currently over 2mil in debt and not coming out of it anytime soon.
My Bank manager is more reckless than the man in charge or together mortgages at Northern Rock was!!!
