Back on Track

So I play a quick early morning warm up against a Level 11 CPU team 3-2 defeat but hey at least I scored.

VFA Championship

First proper match of the day is against Skalps, who I have tipped as League Runners Up this season.

It is a cracking match, proper end to end stuff with the keepers both being in outstanding form.

1-1

A point from a top side in the league is a great result and one my boys should be proud of.

As we are both online we decide to play the other league fixture.

Dispite the draw I managed at home to them mins before I dont feel confident of this match at all.

However lady luck shines down on me and a couple of corner goals something I very very rarely score and I find myself walking away with a 4-0 away win under my belt. This is the pinnacle of the season so far could this be the turning point of the season?

Next Up Cair Hunts play off contenders in my pre season preview.

First off I play them at home and this is one of the most enjoyable matches Ive played in a long time a real case of two teams both just going for it.

Hunts have Mario Balotelli up front and he is a real handful, something I seemed to have missed in the build up to the season kick off.

Anyway it was a tight affair that really could have gone either way however I lose 2-1.

I jump straigh into the away match where im out played out classed and as we enter the 90th min Im 2-1 down and cant see a goal coming.

Then BANG Goalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

2-2

Thats how it finishes and I cnat help telling the other manager this feels like a win to me.

Not a bad start to the day really I certainly would have taken 5 points from these 4 games before the day started and Im suddendly more hopeful and feel with alot of luck I could avoid relegation.
